Measures for the Archival Filing and Registration of Foreign Trade Business Operators

The Measures for the Archival Filing and Registration of Foreign Trade Business Operators, which were discussed and adopted at the 9th executive meeting of the Ministry of Commerce on June 19, 2004, are hereby promulgated, and shall come into force as of July 1, 2004.

Measures for the Archival Filing and Registration of Foreign Trade Business Operators

Article 1　The present Measures are hereby formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of Article 9 of the Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Foreign Trade Law) for the purpose of promoting foreign trade development.

Article 2　Any foreign trade business operator undertaking the import or export of goods or technology shall go through the archival filing and registration to the Ministry of Commerce
